  1. I have to say over the years I’ve probably used most of the anti virus software available both free and paid subscription. I hear a lot of “you get what you pay for” but in all reality, the old saying has very little basis here.
I find that the biggest issue isn’t the products capability so much as the user friendly comes into question! Some of these both free and paid will impale your computers speed with background running applications. Others just don’t possess the user friendly interface while others are some what lacking in other areas. Also, the freebies are very annoying with their constant advertisements……….and you can’t stop them without purchasing the product.
I personally have found Kaspersky to be my choice for anti-virus. It doesn’t work well with my old Windows XP Pro so I just use freebie Avira and deal with the annoying advertisements. For my other machines with Vista and Windows 7 64 bit, I find Kaspersky the best! I have NEVER had any viruses with their product…….ever!! For me, $59.95 a year is well worth the aggravation I would endure dealing with the various viruses capable of crashing your computer………and I have had that experience over the years……….and is isn’t a laughable matter backups or no backups………..it’s still very time consuming!!!

  2. I needed this antiviruses to protect my computer which is anote book and Iam very frustrated that this viruses that are now affecting my PC WOULD EVENTUALLY LEAD TO CRASH DOWN OF MY WORK

  3. Nice Post! I would like to share that I have used Avira Free antivirus, but I wasn’t satisfied with the performance. This is the reason that now I am using Immunet. The software is efficient and also light on my PC.

  4. What I will say is that anti virus is the requirement of every system today. But if you are using a genuine system of Windows 7.0, then it comes with regular upgrades or the valid interfaces of safety in Microsoft security essentials.
But most of the systems get installed with pirated versions of operating systems. In this scenario, it is best recommended that a external anti virus system be installed and if it is free, then definitely it should work in sync with OS.
Slowing down the systems speed is a obviously a point in this.
Still many companies are so sensitive towards hacking and attacks that they prefer to use a good system processor which can work with genuine OS and a good antivirus.
