Using Repost for Instagram
- Downloading: Download Repost for Instagram for iOS or Android. Devices are compatible with this app, which combines directly with Instagram so you can share content from other Instagram users from the mobile device.
- Recognize a photo or video to repost: Open your Instagram app and get a pic or video you’d like to repost from your own Instagram handle. Tap your preferred photo from the original poster’s photo gallery to view its full view.
- Copy the post’s share URL to the clipboard: Once you’re on the photo’s or video’s landing page, click the “…” icon in the upper-righthand edge of the post. Tap “Copy Share URL.”
- Open Repost for Instagram: Once the picture is copied to your phone’s clipboard, open Repost for Instagram. The copied post will automatically be on the app’s homepage. Repost for the Instagram homepage with the Instagram post that was copied to the clipboard. Click the arrow on the right-hand side of the post. There, you can control how you want the repost icon to arrive on Instagram. Tap “Repost.” Click “Copy to Instagram,” where you can attach a filter and edit the post.
- Edit the post’s caption and share repost: Tap “Next.” If you wish to incorporate the original post’s caption, tap the caption field and tap “Paste.” The original caption will come with a citation that credits the original poster with your reposted pic; when you’re ready to share the post, tap “Share” as you would a regular Instagram post.
- Download InstaRepost: Downloading it will help share content from other users from your own Instagram account thru your device.
- Give InstaRepost a way to your Instagram account: Open InstaRepost, log in using the Instagram credentials and authorize it to obtain friends, photos, and related content associated with the store.
- Use InstaRepost to mark up the original poster’s username: InstaRepost will only give you a small selection from the Instagram feed. Enter the username of the person to repost.
- Save the photo to camera roll: Tap “Repost,” “Repost” again. Drive to your Instagram app and tap “Library.” You’ll see the post saved to camera roll. Tap the photo to draw it into Instagram.
- Add a citation & a filter, and distribute your repost: Add a filter and edit the post as you would any other. Then, choose “Next” and click the caption field to paste the original caption. Press “Share.”
DownloadGram allows Instagram users to download high-resolution copies of Instagram photos and videos to repost from the respective accounts. Luckily, there isn’t an app you require to download to repost using the process.
- Open Instagram to locate a photo or video to repost: Open your Instagram app and find the post you want to report. Click the “…” icon in the upper right-hand edge of the post and tick “Copy Share URL.”
- Paste the share URL into DownloadGram: Open the mobile internet browser and navigate DownloadGram. Paste the URL into the text case that looks on the website’s homepage. Tap “Download.” Tap the green “Download Image” switch that appears further down DownloadGram’s website.
- Download the post: You’ll be guided to a new page with the content ready to download. Tap the download icon and click “Save image.”
- Open Instagram and discover the photo or video in your camera roll: Return to your Instagram app. The picture will be saved to camera roll, so update it as you would any other Instagram post.
- Add a caption and share repost: The repost won’t include a citation, so we recommend adding one by typing “@ + [username]” to credit the original poster with the photo or video. Then, press “Share.”
Taking a Screenshot
This method doesn’t need any or other websites to repost on Instagram. It’s worth noting that this method only serves for reposting photos, not videos.
- Get a photo on Instagram you’d like to repost and get a screenshot with the phone.
- For iOS: Press on the home and lock buttons concurrently until the screen flashes.
- For Android: Tap down on the sleep/wake and volume down buttons concurrently until the screen flashes.
- Tap the new post button in the bottom centre of your Instagram screen. Resize the photo.
- Edit and filter the post.
- Be ready to crop the sides of the screenshot to capture just the picture you want to share with followers.
- The repost won’t incorporate a citation, so we recommend adding one by typing “@ + [username]” to recognize the original poster with the photo you’re reposting. Tap “Share.”
